Brendan O’Sullivan details his best Jalen Green prop bets for tonight’s Rockets vs. Warriors Game 7 matchup.
It seemed that the Warriors had locked up this first round series after leading 3-1, but the Rockets fought back and forced a Game 7. They’re looking to become just the 14th team to overcome a 3-1 deficit in NBA history.
Game 7 is in Houston tonight and will determine who advances to play the No. 6 Timberwolves in the second round.
The Rockets are 2.5-point favorites at home, and the game total is set at 205.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Here are my favorite Jalen Green prop bets for Rockets vs. Warriors Game 7.

Jalen Green Under 15.5 Points (-120)
Green has been anything but impressive during this first round series against the Warriors, and luckily, it hasn’t cost the Rockets. The fourth-year guard has scored seven, 38, nine, eight, 11 and 12 points through the first six games of his postseason career.
Aside from his 38-point explosion in the Game 2 victory, Green has been a non-factor throughout the series. After the Rockets went down 3-1, much of the blame could have been shifted to him. Green averaged 21 points per game during the regular season, so his playoff debut was extremely underwhelming.
He’s escaped some criticism because Houston forced a Game 7, but he’s not in the clear. Even if the Rockets advance, Green’s performance will be a major topic during the offseason. It will be even more glaring if the Rockets lose Game 7. Green signed a three-year, $105 million contract extension that kicks in next season. The third year is a player option worth $36 million.
Regardless of Green’s struggles and questions about his future, he will still be suiting up for Houston in Game 7. The team didn’t need him in Games 5 and 6, so perhaps the Rockets can win one more without a notable performance.
Green’s points prop line is set at 15.5 points for Game 7, which is the same as Game 6. He scored just 12 points in Game 6 and has hit the under on this line in five of the six games this series. The one exception, of course, was the 38-point performance.
While the Rockets would certainly appreciate a good outing from Green, it’s not necessary for a victory. They’ve shifted their game plan to include Fred VanVleet more consistently as well as using Alperen Sengun as the lead man.
VanVleet has scored 25, 26 and 29 points in his last three games, so Houston should continue to lean on him rather than Green. It’s another chance to fade Green and take his under tonight.
